Strategy and reporting
In Poland and the European Union, there are a number of legal conditions that oblige building owners to improve the energy efficiency of their properties. Examples are the EU Taxonomy and CRREM (Carbon Risk Real Estate Monitor), which require changes to reduce the energy consumption of buildings and the resulting operational carbon footprint.
According to the CRREM guidelines, each building type has a defined path that indicates the goal of reducing energy consumption and emissions in each subsequent year, until 2050. Reducing energy consumption and the operational carbon footprint of a building has additional benefits – this is primarily the aforementioned energy savings. We optimize operating costs, which with the current price increase significantly worsen the company’s financial results.
1.
We will perform an energy audit of the building preceded by an analysis of documentation and current bills. We will compare the efficiency of the building with EU requirements and other buildings of the same type.
2.
We will analyze the current situation in relation to legal and market requirements, and then plan an energy optimization path – so as to increase the energy efficiency of the property. We will divide the recommendations into operational, investment and related to renewable energy sources.
3.
We will calculate the investment costs for each recommendation and their payback time. This will allow you to choose the optimal path of action leading to achieving climate neutrality.
