AREA OF EXPERTISE
Przemysław has experience in computer modelling of energy processes. Przemysław is interested in low-emission buildings, energy efficiency technologies and technologies related to the generation, transformation and storage of energy.
His duties include computer simulation of buildings to determine their energy consumption for LEED and BREEAM certification, daylighting simulations, energy consulting and preparing analyses of the environmental impact of buildings (LCA) and their life cycle costs (LCC).
Przemysław is also involved in projects related to LEED and BREEAM certification in the area of energy efficiency and air quality analyses.
Przemysław holds the LEED Green Associate certificate and is licensed to prepare energy performance certificates.

EDUCATION AND WORK EXPERIENCE
During the studies for the engineer’s degree, Przemysław has acquired a broad knowledge of energy technologies, including fossil-fuel power plants, renewable energy sources, fuels and HVAC systems. Przemysław has also acquired experience in the use of CAD software.
His engineer’s thesis focused on gas heat pumps.
During the studies for the Master’s degree, he acquired experience in using computer-aided methods to model physical and chemical phenomena in energy processes.
Przemysław also had the opportunity to become familiar with computational fluid dynamics and its application to heat and flow problems and anemometry, in particular the PIV (Particle Image Velocimetry) method, which he used for the tests he conducted as part of his Master’s thesis focusing on the determination of the velocity profile in an air duct.
He conducted experimental tests at the laboratories of the AGH University and at the Shibaura Institute of Technology in Tokyo.
Since March 2015, Przemysław has been the Energy Modelling Specialist at JW+A
